There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about VIKN Dynamics. I hope you enjoy this site and take a moment to drop me a line.
VIKN Dynamics is a safe space with a listening ear to explore your life experience (thoughts, feelings, emotions, beliefs) and reach a richer place of awareness and understanding. You are the expert of your experience; I walk beside you in support. Together we acknowledge where you are, take what is working for you and design a new blueprint for how you interact and want to live in your experience.

If you are new to VIKN Dynamics, the first session is a 50-minute intake session to assess your needs and wants and ensure we are a good fit. It is common in the beginning of therapy to keep sessions on a weekly basis to ensure a solid start and gain traction towards progress. In time, sessions can space out to every other week, to every three weeks, to monthly.
If you are a returning client, we will review and assess what brings you into therapy.
VIKN Dynamics offers telehealth and in-person (West Seattle area) appointments. Heather is an out of network provider. Super bills are accessible upon request.
Relationships take work, skill, and adaptability. There are 100 ways to say, "I love you" and there are 100 ways to receive "I love you". It's complicated. Research suggests relationships influence physical and mental health, for better or worse. Investing in your relationship is investing in your health. Relationship work combines individual and couple's sessions. Together, we will s-l-o-w things down and attentively observe relationship patterns.

If you are new to VIKN Dynamics, the first session of couples therapy is an 80-minute intake session with both members of the relationship present. The next 2-4 sessions are 80-minute individual sessions with each member. Once these individual sessions are complete, the couple then returns together in an 80-minute session and we proceed in this dynamic ongoing (unless, otherwise needed). In the beginning of therapy, it is important to keep the sessions on a weekly basis to ensure a solid start and gain traction going forward. Over time, sessions can space out to every other week, every three weeks, or monthly.
If you are a returning couple, we will review and assess what brings you into therapy.

Family is important. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (Aristotle). What happens when those parts feel disconnected or work against each other? Families are complex and more diverse than ever before. This adds new challenges that require creative strategies to reinvent what it means to be "home" with each other. Family Therapy can include the whole family (children, youth, adults) or several family members.

If you are new to VIKN Dynamics, the first session of family therapy is an 80-minute intake session typically with the parent(s) only. The next session is determined on this initial session. Following sessions can include parents, children, teens, and other members individually. They may also include parent-child only, siblings only, and the entire family. Session lengths may vary based on the members present. In the beginning of therapy, it is important to keep the sessions on a weekly basis to ensure a solid start and gain traction going forward. Over time, sessions can space out to every other week, every three weeks, or monthly.
